Apple is expected to drop support for 32-bit Apps in iOS 11. This is based on messages pop-up in current 10.3 beta update. It says “This app will not work with future versions of iOS. The developer of this app needs to update it to improve its compatibility.”

Accordingly, developers need to update their apps compatible to 64 bits.   Previously Apple has announced to the developers that new apps must have 64-bit Support.

RIP nearly 200,000 apps in iOS 11
You will have missed your loved apps/Game which not supportive to 64-bit in iOS 11. Still, developers have to chance to update their apps until the release of iOS 11 beta.
There are approximately 2.4 million apps in app store worldwide.  According to the “sensor tower” (Apps analytical company) data, 8% of all apps will be obsolete once Apple drops support for the 32-bit apps in iOS 11.  It’s nearly 187000 apps.
Apple introduced the 64-bit chipset along with the iPhone 5S/iOS7 in 2013, and they didn’t require 64-bit support for the apps until 2015, and It is compulsory requirement that all apps in apps store have a 64-bit compatibility February 2015 onwards.

WWDC Live Stream for Keynote Address 2017

Apple will be providing the live stream for their WWDC 2017 keynote address this year also. Apple confirmed the keynote address would
live on June 5th at 10 am PDT. You can watch this from mac/iOS device and Apple tv using Safari Browser.  They expected to introduce updates for their 04 incredible flat forms, and most probably they will showcase new hardware such as iPhone 8, new iPad, New mac book.

Google Maps, Amazon, eBay have killed support for Apple watch

Google maps, Amazon eBay earlier included apple watch support in their iOS apps. But they have drop support in their recent update.  None of them officially didn’t inform the reason. Google noted later “We removed Apple Watch support from our latest iOS release but expect to support it again in the future.”

Maybe they have removed apps because these apps are not widely use through watchOS. Sometimes google might add support again according to their statement.

However, Google map need to be in Apple watch because easily can get directions to anywhere. Hopefully watchOS 4 which to be release in WWDC 2017 will bring back these apps again

Google Maps just added the feature  of Parking reminder for iOS

Now Google Map for iOS will help you to remember the where you parked your car.

When users connect to their car via Bluetooth or USB Audio, parking spot automatically added to the map when disconnect and exit the vehicle.

Also, users can add manually tapping on the Blue dot and “Set as Parking Location.”

Users can share parking spot with Friends as well view pictures.

Further uses can add note on parking spot to find the place faster.

WWDC 2017! What was announced ?

Apple's biggest event of WWDC 2017 today (5th June 2017) go on at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Apple CEO Tim Cook delivered the keynote speech as usual and launched iOS11, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, watchOS 4, tvOS 11 at WWDC. As well they have introduced the New 12.9 and 10.5-inch iPad Pro models, iMacs, MacBooks, and MacBook Pro models and Brand New Homepod.
