    Serotonin jailbreak is a semi jailbreak tool based on puaf_landa exploit (part of the KFD project) for iOS & iPadOS 16-iOS 16.6.1 running A12+ devices. It is a tweak injection method to support the RootHide team’s Procursus bootstrap for arm64e devices running iOS & iPadOS 16.2-16.6.1.as well.

    What can you do with Serotonin?

    Serotonin isn’t a full-fledged jailbreak, but they use tricks like the KFD exploit and CoreTrust bug from TrollStore. They allow you to install and use certain jailbreak tweaks and apps using the Sileo app manager. So this is called  “semi-jailbreaks” in certain Discord groups.

    Basically it is a SpringBoard tool box.It allow you to install Home Screen tweaks & LockScreen tweaks, Customize Control Center & Notifications

    Note : Originally, Serotonin only worked on certain devices running iOS & iPadOS 16.2-16.6.1. But with the new version 1.1.0, it now works on devices with iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.1.2 as well. This means if you have an arm64e device, Serotonin now supports all iOS & iPadOS 16 versions from 16 to 16.6.1. Check compatibility.

    However, it is not supported with iOS 16.7-iOS 16.7.7 jailbreak. Also not supported with iOS 17 Jailbreak, iOS 17.1 Jailbreak, iOS 17.2/iOS 17.2.1 Jailbreak, iOS 17.3/iOS 17.3.1 Jailbreak, iOS 17.4/iOS 17.4.1 Jailbreak or iOS 17.5 Jailbreak (Beta).

    How to install Serotonin Jailbreak

    Step 01 – Get TrollStore 2 installed on your device.

    Step 02 – Install the RootHide Bootstrap for added functionality.

    Step 03 – Launch Sileo, search for ElleKit, and install it.

    Step 04 – Download the latest TIPA file for Serotonin from the above button.

    Step 05 – Utilize TrollStore 2 to install the downloaded Serotonin TIPA file.

    Step 06 – Open the Serotonin app and hit the “Jelbrek” button.

    Step 07 – Your device will go through a userspace reboot.

    Step 08 – Once the reboot is complete, your device should be successfully jailbroken using Serotonin.
