Zebra Contribution for Rootless Jailbreak
Zebra has been updated to include support for rootless jailbreak packages. This ensures that the appropriate variant of a package is installed, while preventing the installation of incompatible packages. The “Rootless” scheme is a recent development where all packages are installed in a designated folder specific to the jailbreak, instead of being intermingled with core iOS files. This scheme is utilized in palera1n when tweaks are not enabled and is projected to become a standard practice for all future jailbreaks.
Latest Jailbreak support of Zebra
- Zebra adds support for the Palera1n iOS 15 – iOS 16 Jailbreak
- Zebra 2 is presently under active development and is compatible with iOS 14+ and macOS 11+. Zebra 1 is the current stable release that supports iOS 9 to iOS 14.
- Zebra 2 is anticipated to be completely compatible with the rootless Cheyote jailbreak tool, developed by the Odyssey Team, for iOS and iPadOS 15 – iOS 15.1.1.
- The Zebra team confirms that Zebra is no longer planning to support XinaA15 jailbreak and strongly recommend switching to @opa334dev’s dopamine jailbreak (Previously known as Fugu15 Max jailbreak)
