KeenLab demonstrated many iOS versions of jailbreak at security conferences worldwide.
They have shown a demo of Jailbreak iOS 12.2, iOS 12.1, iOS 12 beta 1, iOS 11.3.1, iOS 11.1.1, iOS 11 and iOS 10.3.2 versions using the same Keen IPA based method so far.

iOS 12.2 Jailbreak Demo at InfiltrateCon 2019
Head of KeenLab, Liang Chen has Jailbreak iOS 12.2 on iPhone XS Max, with PAC and APRR bypass. He installed Cydia on iOS 12.2 by completing a keen jailbreak process on iPhone XS Max. This time demonstrated for the Infiltrate Conference 2019 held on 02nd-03rd May in Fontainebleau Hotel at Miami Beach, Florida, USA. He has published this demo video on youtube.
iOS 12.1 Jailbreak Demo at PoC 2018
Again Liang Chen hit the jailbreak community. He has achieved iOS 12.1 jailbreak running iPhone Xs. He demonstrated this iOS 12.1 Keen Jailbreak at PoC 2018 held on 8th-9th Nov at The-K Hotel. Before participating in this conference, he was informed about this via his twitter account that he has jailbroken iOS 12 on iPhone XS.
iOS 12 beta 1 Jailbreak Demo by Liang Chen
This time Liang Chen & Marco Grassi demonstrated iOS 12 Jailbreak at the RECon conference in Montreal. Liang Chen has published a youtube video of Jailbreak iOS 12 beta 1 running iPhone X via his official Twitter page. He shows the iOS versions clearly, and He launches helloworld 711 Jailbreak app through the device. Once complete helloworld 711 jailbreak iOS 12 process, Cydia will appear on his device homescreen.
iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Demo at InfiltrateCon 2018
Keen lab always hit the jailbreak community by jailbreaking the latest version as soon as Apple released it. This time they jailbreak the iOS 11.3.1 version at the Infiltrate Security Conference which was held on 26th -27th April 2018 at Fontainebleau Hotel. Liang Chen demonstrated iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak using iPhone X. This will be compatible with iOS 11.3 jailbreak too.
However, they did not mention the public release of this Keen iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak.
iOS 11.1.1 Jailbreak Demo at PoC 2017
Leader of Keen Security Lab Liang Chen demonstrated “A Hacking and Security Story from Post iOS 10 to 11” at the PoC 2017. Most important thing is that he jailbreak the iOS 11.1.1 version. Liang did this using iPhone X and revealed the iPhone X Jailbreak possibility.
PoC : PoC 2017 held on 9th-10th November 2017 in Seoul, Korea. POC is an international security & hacking conference organized by Korean hackers & security experts. It started in 2006.
Tencent KeenLab Jailbreak Demo at MOSEC 2017
KeenLab focused on the most important revelation for the future jailbreak at the MOSEC 2017. Co-Founder of Keen Security Lab Liang Chen revealed Apple’s security enhancements via iOS 10 releases. Even though Apple has improved iOS kernel security on iOS 10.1, iOS 10.1.1, iOS 10.2, iOS 10.2.1, iOS 10.3, iOS 10.3.1, iOS 10.3.2, iOS 10.3.3 versions harder, he has found some of the security issues of them.
According to Liang Chen, it was possible to jailbreak iOS 11 beta versions as well. He has proved all these security issues by showing system root jailbreak installing Cydia. Liang Chen successfully demonstrated three jailbroken devices as follows.
- Jailbreak iOS 11 beta 2 on iPhone 7
- Jailbreak iOS 10.3.2 on iPhone 6
- Jailbreak iOS 10.3.2 on iPhone 7

MOSEC 2017 was held on 23rd June 2017 at the Grand Kempinski Hotel, in Shanghai, China. Many security researchers deliver speeches and demos about various topics relevant to Mobile Security in this field. Speakers are Liang Chen, Hao Chen, Wanqiao Zhang, Peter Kamensky, Luca Todesco, Yulong Zhang, Tao & WeiMax Bazaliy. PoC has experience in the field since 2006, and the same Sponsors and Media Supporters are existing MOSEC 2017.

Jailbreak History of Keen Lab
Keen_lab planned to release a jailbreak tool for iOS 9, iOS 9.1 jailbreak is their first attempt.Those days they appeared as K33nTeam. Because of Apple’s higher security, KeenTeam was unable to release any jailbreak tool for iOS 9. They also requested partners such as Pangu Taig to join them to release the new jailbreak tool. Unfortunately, no one supported them at that time. However, K33nTeam released the Android PingPong Root tool for Samsung Galaxy S6 devices at that stage.
