Manticore Jailbreak is iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 jailbreak tool that is currently developing. This is based on the new cicuta_virosa kernel exploit.

ETA : The developers did not estimate the time of arrival of the closed beta yet. But surely it is going to be released 1-2 weeks before the public beta. You can join the closed beta by subscribing to the “Manticore Beta” on rpwnage & cpwn’s patreon sites to support the manticore development team financially. Manticore will be released together with CheatManager.
Manticore Compatibility

Until the Manticore Jailbreak release, use other iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 jailbreak solutions. Refer to the following pages to download currently available alternative jailbreak solutions. Also, check the safari version of manticore.

However, now there are many iOS versions released after iOS 14.3. Therefore, Manticore might be released adding the latest iOS versions support too.
Devices : manticore will be compatible with all device models including A12, A13 & A14 devices. But the latest iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 may not be compatible with Manticore.

What will be the default Package Manager of Manticore?
Manticore will add all package managers with the option to select one as your choice. That means selectable package managers including Cydia, Sileo, Installer and Zebra. Manticore will be the first jailbreak where you can choose your package manager.
Also, they will include dynamic jailbreak detection, to detect, disable/enable previous jailbreak installations on the device.
Also, developers working together with Hayden to integrate Procursus bootstraps as well as the Libhooker tweak Injection platform.
CheatManager by Manticore
CheatManager is a dynamic and independent mobile platform. It will be used for installation, distribution or creation of mobile game cheats/hacks. So, you can create your own Game Hacks/Mod Menus/Savegame Editors on your device.
CheatManager will be available for all iOS devices with the developers’ hard work. It is made by Rpwnage, Althio, Monotrix, Vislate.
CheatManager will be one of the utilities and tools on the Manticore repository.
Jailbreak Methods for Manticore
IPA+ computer based Method – Manticore will be an IPA + computer based Jailbreak like all standard Jailbreak. Manticore will come with MAC & Windows support. So it will need to sideload the Manticore IPA using any Jailbreak IPA installer such as Altstore or sideloadly using MAC or Windows computer.
Online method (No PC) – No guarantee about Manticore Online Jailbreak. Sometimes it comes with online support. That means you can complete the Manticore Jailbreak process without a PC (No PC). There are many Online service providers submit online plist for full jailbreak. But Apple blocked the Plist for IPA regularly once reported. However, there is a chance to get the Safari version of manticore.
Safari version of manticore
iOS 14.5 WebKit/Safari based Jailbreak achieved by RPwnage & the Manticore team.
This exploit is only for iOS 14.5+, because of this vulnerability in audioworklet which introduced a new version of the WebKit engine with iOS 14.5. The changes in WKWebView, Safari 14.1 as the browser, and an updated engine for PWAs. It includes unverified code. So, developer ujin5 released the exploit using the audioworklet bug. RPwnage is developing Webkit /Safari based jailbreak for iOS 14 using this exploit.
Most probably, the Safari version of manticore will be released for iOS 14.5 & higher versions.

Unc0ver Jailbreak was the most reliable, successful jailbreak tool. It has ugardes each single version since iOS 11. It has added support for iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 previously and iOS 14.4 – iOS 14.5.1 support added only for A12-A14 devices with Fugu14. Also, now added iOS 14.6 – iOS 14.8 support only for A12/A13 devices. This is the most competitive jailbreak tool for manticore, not only mantico but also every other jailbreak.
Taurine Jailbreak iOS 14 – iOS 14.3
cicuta virosa exploit developer Modern Pwner gave permission officially to develop the exploit for Odyssey. Odyssey was renamed as Taurine jailbreak. Now it is available with Sileo Package manager and prosurus bootstrap with libhooker tweak injection platform. So Taurine is very fast & stable. This is a competitive Jailbreak tool for Mantico.
RoolessJB for iOS 14 – iOS 14.3
The developer Brandon Plank (Kayla) updated RootlessJB 14 for iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 using cicuta virosa exploit. He also released PlankFilza using this. After that he turned to the RoolessJB 14 project. It was available for older iOS versions up to iOS 12.4.8. Initially this was developed by Jake James, then project opensouced and Brandon Plank developed Rootless Jailbreak for iOS 12 versions. However, this does not install Cydia or Sileo once the jailbreak process is completed, it just let you install Jailbreak tweaks. So, roolessJB can not beat the new Manticore Tool.
C0met Jailbreak for iOS 14 – iOS 14.3
This another new upcoming jailbreak developed using the same exploit. iOS developer maverickdev1 developing this C0met Jailbreak tool for same iOS 14 – iOS 14.3. He is turkish developer and new to twitter also. We haven’t heard much about this developer too. Also, this is a new Jailbreak tool like manticore, so we can not compare with these two yet.
Pattern-f’s TQ-pre-jailbreak
Pattern-f is also going to release a new Jailbreak for iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 using the same Modern Pwner’s exploit. Previously, he demonstrated iOS 14.1 on iPhone 12 (A12+ device) using LPE exploit. Also, he is working as a macOS security researcher and reported several vulnerabilities in the past. Therefore, we can expect something worthwhile.
