We checked all the Jailbreak tools with iOS 14.7 beta
We tested all Jailbreak IPAs, repo extractors and app managers for iOS 14.7 beta with a few iPhone and iPad models such as iPhone 12 pro, iPhone 11, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Pro and iPad Air.
Currently, there are no iOS 14.7 Jailbreak tools. But few Jailbreak methods / tools work with iOS 14.7 perfectly.
Zeon – Zeon is the Jailbreak repo extractor and Jailbreak app store that was released for iOS 14 and higher versions. It worked with iOS 14.7 beta version. We have tested with few devices. You can check the results from below for further confirmation.
Checkra1n – Checkra1n is one and only semi tethered jailbreak, which is supported to jailbreak iOS 14.7. However, it could Jailbreak iOS 14.7 A11 devices partially. Also, checkra1n Jailbreak failed with the latest iPhone, iPad models running iOS 14.7 beta. Checkout the results for more clarification.
Unc0ver – We could install Unc0ver Jailbreak IPA with iOS 14.7 running the latest iPhone and iPad models. But iOS 14.7 jailbreak couldn’t be done with Unc0ver. Unc0ver has not upgraded since iOS 14.3. Most probably Unc0ver next update will add jailbreak support up to iOS 14.7.
Zylon – Zylon is Jailbreak community based development. It worked with iOS 14.7 beta versions. According to the developer, they have upgraded Zylon as iOS 14.7 Jailbreak app store. It works with all latest device models. You can install a bundle of Jailbreak tweaks, Themes on iOS 14.7 using Zylon.
Odyssey – Odyssey is one of the previous jailbreak tools of CoolStar’s jailbreaks. It was available for iOS 13 versions. Because Odyssey support is too old, we couldn’t install Odyssey IPA to complete the iOS 14.7 jailbreak. Odyssey will never be upgraded for iOS 14.7.
Taurine – Taurine Jailbreak is an upgraded version of the above odyssey. Coolstar used to change the Jailbreak label according to every iOS version series. According to iOS 14 support came out with the Taurine Jailbreak label. However, If we were able to install the Taurine iPA on the iOS 14.7 version, it couldn’t complete the jailbreak. That is because at the moment, it only supports iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 only.
MarronJB – We can use the marron virtual app to jailbreak iOS 14.7 ++ install web-based Cydia. We tried this using a few latest iPhone models and old iPad models. It worked nicely. You can get virtual jailbreak experience with MarronJB.
Hexxa Plus – Hexxa Plus is a jailbreak repo extractor. We tried to install famous jailbreak apps on iOS 14.7 beta using Hexxa Plus. Most of the Hexxa Plus jailbreak apps were able to install on iOS 14.7. Hexxa plus was the most popular jailbreak app installation method for iOS 13 – iOS 13.7

iPad Pro – First we installed iPadOS 14.7 on iPad pro (2020) and tested Checkra1n, unc0ver & Taurine. Does not support any of these sem-untethered jailbreak tools with iPad Pro. Also, tried with Zeon, Hexxa plus & marronJB. These work perfectly on iPadPro.
iPad Air – Chekra1n installed on iPadOS 14.7 running iPad Air device. No issues. Zeon, Hexxa Plus, MarronJB are also compatible with iPad Air.

Jailbreaking iOS 14.7 using Windows – Still there is no semi-untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 14.7 except Checkra1n. Even if checkra1n supports iOS 14.7, there is no windows support. You need to use Checkra1n windows alternative somewhat advanced.

iOS 14.7 Jailbreak using Linux – At the moment, Checkra1n is the only iOS 14.7 jailbreak tool that works with Linux. Checkra1n is used to work with A7-A11 devices properly. However, A7 devices will currently not work with the Linux version.
iOS 14.7 Online Jailbreak – Online method is the easiest way. It does not require a computer. There is no online support for Checkra1n. If there is No PC methods available for Unc0ver, it does not upgrade for iOS 14.7. Therefore currently Zeon, Hexxa plus are the best iOS 14.7 online jailbreak solution.
How to Jailbreak iPhone using Android – Now you can jailbreak your iOS 14.7 iPhone using an android device. Hence Checkra1n has Linux support that lets you jailbreak using a rooted Android smartphone. That is because Android built using the Linux base. You will need the following items as optional to proceed the installation.
- Rooted Android device
- A terminal app on your Android phone
- Lightning to USB-C data cable, Lightning to USB adapter with a USB-A to USB-C (Otherwise USB-A to Micro-USB data cable, or Lightning data cable with USB-A to Micro-USB or USB-A to USB-C adapter)
However it is an advanced method and if you are familiar with Linux you can go ahead. We did not try this method yet. Go to Checkra1n Jailbreak page for MAC, Linux and Windows alternative guides.
iOS 14.7 Jailbreak Exploit
Checkm8 Exploit – axi0mX introduced the Checkm8 exploit. Checkm8 exploit already supports iOS 14.7 on A7- A11 devices. That’s why we could use Checkra1n jailbreak on iOS 14.7 devices. This exploit is a hardware based permanent exploit and can not patch via software update.
Fugu Jailbreak is also a Checkm8 based jailbreak released by Linus Henze. However it was not very successful and did not upgrade after iOS 13.3. So we can not expect Fugu jailbreak for iOS 14.7.
cicuta_verosa kernel exploit – This was a jailbreak based on the exploit by @ModernPwner. It was released for the iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 first time and Taurine Jailbreak developed using this exploit. Also, this is compatible with all device models including A13 & A14. It might update this exploit for iOS 14.7 too. If so, Taurine will definitely work with iOS 14.7 Jailbreak. On the other hand, Cool Star normally upgraded his all jailbreak tool for every iOS version since iOS 11. So we can expect Taurine jailbreak for iOS 14.7.
tfp0 exploit /Voucher_swap /IOSurface Kernel Exploit /SockPuppet – These exploits used to develop Unc0ver Jailbreak for various versions. Pwn20wnd upgraded the Unc0ver tool from time to time since iOS 11. However, still unc0ver did not upgrade after iOS 14.3. Sometimes Unc0ver next version might update using any of these existing exploits or discover the new vulnerability to develop it. Even if it takes a long time, no doubt Unc0ver will update every iOS 14 version including iOS 14.7 too.
Jailbreaking is a root accessing process. So it will get errors during the jailbreak process using varois jailbreak tools.
iOS version not supported message – You will see version does not support message when you try Checkra1n on iOS 14.7. Reason is still iOS 14.7 support is not added officially. So we need to use the previous version to Jailbreak iOS 14.7. So just follow the below extra step.

- You must check the “Skip A11 BPR check” box in Checkra1n, in the Options section, before jailbreaking. This is not recommended, but still you can jailbreak iOS 14.7 running iPhone X using this method.
USB errors – When Checkra1n running on A7, A9X, A10 and A10X devices, there is an issue in the USB stack of Apple Silicon Macs. You need to unplug and replug the lightning cable during the jailbreaking process as a solution.
When running the Unc0ver Jailbreak also gets the following errors mostly. However, iOS 14.7 can not jailbreak with Unc0ver yet. So, if you install Unc0ver IPA at the moment, you will get an UNSUPPORTED ERROR MESSAGE. Here are the common other errors of uncover
Cydia Not Accessible – Open the Unc0ver app, go to Settings, and select reinstall Cydia followed by reset Cydia cache options.
